Snorkeling excursion to Punta Giglio – Alghero

The formula we propose includes a short excursion and a dive in the life-rich waters of the Porto Conte Park.
Thanks to the accompaniment of expert guides you will be able to recognize numerous underwater species. And that’s not all: the excursion also includes a snack break at the Rifugio di Mare!
Snorkeling excursion to Punta Giglio: brief description of the activity
- Short hiking trail (E) suitable for people with good physical preparation.
- The circular route does not present any technical difficulties and runs along mostly shady paths.
- A certified guide will accompany you, showing you all the biodiversity of the protected natural area: land, sky and sea will amaze you with the variety of species present!
Departure scheduled from the entrance of the Punta Giglio natural area to arrive, through an easy path, at the former military battery SR413. During the excursion you can enjoy a snack and visit the open-air museum. Return along the coastal path with snorkeling at Cala Bramassa.
Timetable and details
- The excursion is carried out every day by reservation and is subject to the availability of the operators. Extra excursions can be arranged for small groups.
- To ensure the quality of the experience, time slots may vary depending on weather conditions.
- The total duration of the excursion is 4 hours.
- Due to its characteristics, the experience is suitable for children aged 12 and up.
What to bring
- It is recommended to wear clothing appropriate to the season (preferably layered) and to bring at least 2 litres of water.
- Hiking shoes mandatory.
- Bring your swimsuit and towel to relax after your swim!

Helpful Tips:
In addition to the above, we recommend bringing fruit or light snacks. We also recommend wearing a hat or sunshade. We will be bathing in a protected area, so bring biocompatible sunscreen: we care about protecting the fragile beauty of ecosystems!

Important notes
Following the booking request, it is necessary to communicate in advance the measurements relating to clothing for snorkeling.
Customers are asked to leave a small space in their backpacks to carry their lycra if they need it.
Reservations require at least 48 hours notice to be confirmed.
