“What to do for Ferragosto?” The peak of summer—which also coincides with a national holiday—is the very time when finding peace and quiet is hardest. Crowded beaches, restaurants and farm stays besieged by visitors, traffic, and stress threaten to turn what should be a festive day into an obstacle course.
But there is an alternative, and it’s closer than you think: over the Ferragosto weekend, we’ll be fully up and running and ready to welcome you!
How our Mid-Summer offer works
On August 15 and 16, 2026, Rifugio di Mare is offering two special menus created for the occasion: one seafood and one vegetarian. Both are based on the same principles that guide our cuisine year-round—namely, local produce, seasonality, and a short supply chain.
The Ferragosto menu is available for both lunch and dinner at a price of €65 per person; this includes the shuttle service and cover charge but excludes drinks. A children’s menu is available for €30, featuring gnocchi with tomato sauce, a hamburger with potatoes, and a house-made dessert.
To reach the Rifugio di Mare from the free parking area at the park entrance, a dedicated shuttle service is available and included in the price of the meal. We recommend booking in advance, as space is limited on these two festive days.

How does the shuttle reservation work? Can I call when I’m at the parking lot?
Shuttle services are scheduled based on customer requests while always taking the vehicles’ operational requirements into account (such as electric battery charging); consequently, we operate on a fixed schedule and cannot accommodate last-minute requests for drop-offs. When booking your lunch or dinner, you will be asked to select a boarding time from the available options. Drop-offs will take place once the meal has concluded.
I have an intolerance or an allergy; how can I handle the set menu?
Please let us know your dietary requirements in advance; we are ready to devise an alternative that suits your diet!
I have children with me. What conditions apply to them?
Children are welcome, so we have set aside a menu for them featuring simpler dishes.
